London Wedding Venues with Outdoor Space

With all this beautiful weather we’re having at the moment it’s made me think about venues in London which have outdoor space. Many couples look to get married in London but fear this means being inside all day. This doesn’t have to be the case, London has many hidden gems all of which can be totally exclusive to you and your guests. Celebrating in the capital need not be an indoor affair!

From May – September it’s all about making the most of the Great British Summer and so it’s good to look for a wedding venue in London that can provide some gorgeous outdoor space. Whether this is for an outside ceremony or alfresco dining there are unique, historic and iconic venues to choose from. If you know where to look there are some fantastic options in the capital city that are also easy for guests to reach. See some of my favourites below:

Chelsea Physic Gardens

If you want to combine of the city’s most affluent areas with an outdoor wedding reception then Chelsea Physic Garden is the venue for you. It’s a botanical garden venue tucked away beside the Thames. It’s an ideal place for beautiful pictures and socialising on your big day and the entire site is available to hire exclusively. You can also hire a large marquee in case of wet weather.

Syon Park

Syon Park offers many options for the day of your wedding. If you want to make the most of the outside space you can choose to have post-ceremony drinks in the private courtyard area which is surrounded by beautifully scented flowers. You then have the magical Great conservatory which is adorned with palm trees and exotic flowers where you can host your wedding breakfast and your guests can experience the wooded secluded Queen’s walk on their way. For those who are having a larger wedding of over 200 guests you can choose to have your dining in the garden room marquee which is in its own private walled garden overlooking the Thames.

Kew Gardens

Kew offers a number of impressive wedding venues for your ceremony and reception, providing an idyllic garden setting in easy reach of London. You can choose for your ceremony and reception to take place inside the naturally lit Nash conservatory, in the orangery or in the largest Victorian glasshouse in the world. You then have over 300 acres of gardens with amazing natural photo opportunities such as in the pretty Rose garden or under a gorgeous pagoda.

We adore a wild luxe Wedding and this look excels at any of the venues mentioned above, these are just three of the many venues we have the pleasure of being able to offer you and would love to talk further about planning your wedding in London which has outside space. Please do get in touch with Emma to find out more.
