As a Top London Wedding Planner, we often get asked what trends we see for the next season. Florals and foliage are certainly going to continue to be huge in luxury wedding decor for 2019 and going into 2020. They are an ideal way to add a luxury feel while still creating a relaxed and rustic vibe. When it comes to creating beautiful displays inspired by nature, volume is key, as the larger and more prominent your flowers and foliage displays are, the more impact they will have.

If you’re considering bringing the outside into your wedding decor and allowing nature to be the leading theme, here’s a few creative ideas, tips and inspiration…

Focus on Seasonal Flowers and Foliage

When it comes to choosing which flowers and foliage to use for your wedding decor, look to the season and take advantage of what flourishes during the month of your big day. Working with the season, rather than against it, will help compliment everything around you, creating a look and feel that feels natural and effortless.

If you’re not sure what’s in season around the time of your wedding day, I can help you select the perfect flowers and foliage, and a good florist will be able to assist further when it comes to choosing the perfect seasonal blooms. By working with the season, you’ll also be able to keep costs down as you can take advantage of local and current flowers and foliage, rather than having to ship anything in.

Our Signature Style

As a luxury wedding planner, my focus is on creating stunning weddings that are brimming with romance. Lots of florals and foliage achieves this brilliantly, adding a romantic and rustic feel. This is why transforming spaces inspired by the wild and nature has become my signature style.

Having worked for many years with creative florists and floral designers, I can help you create the most striking garlands, bouquets and decorations, all using natural and seasonal elements.

From tabletop garlands, wild and natural bouquets and oversized floral backdrops for your entrance hall and ceremony, to garlands hanging from the ceiling and a wedding cake with flowers cascading down the side, my knowledge and expertise allows me to use florals and foliage to create your dream wedding.

There’s nothing quite as striking as a wedding filled with beautiful natural displays and details.
